Rev. Fr Noel Andrew Rucastle, the Bishop elect of Oudtshoorn Diocese in South Africa since the 4th May, will be ordained as the Bishop of the same diocese on the 08th August 2020.

Due to Covid-19 compliance regulations, his ordination will be attended by 50 people only, inclusive of SACBC President Bishop Sithembele Sipuka, Bishops from Cape Town Province, SACBC Secretary General, Sr Hermenegild Makoro CPS, all priests of the diocese and some few invited guests.

Let us remember Fr Rucastle in our prayers, especially during this time when he is preparing himself to take a lead as the shepherd of the church in Oudtshoorn region. Let us also remembers the faithful of that dioceses during this difficult time of not being able to take part in the ordination of their shepherd due to Covid-19 pandemic.
