Whoever keeps my word will never see death.  If we keep the word of God in our hearts, and reflect on it, and pray about it, we too can obtain the fruit that it promises, internal life.

Christ is mediator of a New Covenant, so that by means of his death, those who are called may receive the promise of an eternal inheritance. Cf Heb 9.15
