Southern Africa Catholic Sisters of Diocesan Rite meet Catholic Bishops to Share experiences and Challenges facing them

Superiors General of Sisters of Diocesan Rite together with their Vicars met with their Bishops from 7-9th March at Lumko Conference Centre to share life experiences, ministry, and challenges that they experience.

The purpose of the meeting was to highlight the importance of the Sisters of Diocesan Rite in collaborative ministry together with Bishops, Priests and the laity.

Particular needs of the Sisters were identified and recommendations were made as to how these can be addressed.

Inspired by the Word of God, the participants discerned together what God is calling them to at this time in the life of the Local Church.

The outcome of the meeting was the need to continue the dialogue and to strengthen mutual relations and collaboration amongst the Superiors General of Sisters of Diocesan Rite, the Bishops and Priests.
