Wonderful good, salvation, comes out of this tragic happenings. Joyous elation and suffering walk side by side. While recall the suffering and death of Jesus we know also that He has risen. Similarly during Eastertide we celebrate Jesus’ resurrection while we also remembering his passion and death.

Do not leave me to the will of my foes, O Lord, for false witnesses rise up against me and they breathe out violence. Cf. Ps 26.12
