It is wonderful to know that God knows are suffering. Prayers of the poor and the suffering do not fall on deaf ears, they are heard. Jesus in his suffering absorbs our pain, and makes pain an instrument of salvation.

Hosanna in the highest! Blessed are you, who have come in your abundant mercy!
