His prayer for us to the Father was always that all may be one as you Father are in me and I in you. It is true that we are united to Christ as sons and daughters of the Father in baptism, but that union is only beginning, a fundamental type of oneness. Our union with Christ grows and becomes perfect through receiving Him in the Holy Communion. Let us restore unity to show that we are Eucharistic People.

“We should glory in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, in whom is our salvation, life and resurrection, through whom we are saved and delivered.” (Cf. Gal 6:14)
