The spread of COVID-19 is having a clear and deep impact on our communities. We share your anxiety, shock and fear as our world rapidly goes into lockdown.
We, like you, are feeling these emotions, and are deeply concerned for the people we serve. Imagine facing all of this in the most marginalized communities, with an insecure food supply, no fresh drinking water, and fewer hospital beds? Imagine facing COVID-19 while living in extreme poverty? Catholic Organizations have so many programs that serve the poor, elderly, hungry and most vulnerable among us, including: senior services, prison ministry, shelter, food pantries, soup kitchen, free medical clinic, emergency financial assistance and family transitional housing.
Our brothers and sisters living in such circumstances need our help now more than ever. Those experiencing poverty are extremely vulnerable in the midst of this global pandemic.
If you are in a position to do so, please support the SACBC LENTEN APPEAL. Your donation will be highly appreciated.
