Many of us have been in compromising situations that we are not proud of and tend to condemn ourselves for our foolishness. No matter how bad we sin, Christ’s forgiveness is immediate and total if we are truly sorry for our sinfulness.

Give me justice, O God, and plead my cause against a nation that is faithless. From the deceitful and cunning rescue me, for you, O God, are my strength. Cf. Ps 42:1-2
