As part of 16 Days of Activism, Bishop Victor Phalana from the Catholic Church, who is also the Chairperson of SACBC Justice and Peace Commission, will be a special guest of Newsroom Africa Channel 405 DSTV, to share about the Catholic Church’s Role in addressing the problem of Gender Based Violence.
Bishop Victor will also elaborate more on the Catholic Church Pastoral Statement on Gender Based Violence – issued by the Catholic Bishops two days ago.
In his team Bishop Victor will be joined by Advocate Mbatha from the Archdiocese of Johannesburg. There is a possibility of a team being joined by other members of Catholic Church Leadership.
