Caritas South Africa is the helping hand of the church reaching out with love to the poor, vulnerable
and excluded ones, regardless of their race or religion. We can accompany through the media many
parts of South Africa where the heavy rains and floods have affected thousands of families leaving
them homeless. Many have lost their lives.

The Queenstown Diocese is one of the places that is affected, and Caritas is already on the ground
of Komani to assist the victims. They cannot assist them alone. Caritas South Africa is mobilizing
resources to assist the victims of Komani and other affected areas.
