Bishops of Kimberley and Queenstown

The SACBC is happy to announce that His Holiness, Pope Francis, has appointed Rev. Fr. Paul Siphiwo Vanqa, SAC, as the Bishop of Queenstown.

The Holy Father has also appointed Bishop Duncan Tsoke, Auxiliary of Johannesburg, as the Bishop of the Diocese of Kimberly.

The Diocese of Kimberly has been vacant since the late Archbishop Gabuza was appointed the Coadjutor Archbishop of Durban on the 9th of December 2018.

The Diocese of Queenstown has been vacant since Bishop Mphako was appointed the Archbishop of Pretoria on the 30th of April 2019.

We congratulate the faithful of Kimberly and Queenstown together with their new Shepherds. We keep them in our prayerful gratitude to the Lord.
