Isaiah warns us of the grave repercussions of our actions in our relationship with God and neighbour. Even though it is delivered in a tone of anger it still comes from the place of love, from the God who wants to see us at right with Him and with one another.
“Give light to my eyes lest I fall asleep in death, lest my enemy say: I have overcome him.” (Cf. Ps 12:4-5)
