“I will take the sons of Israel from the nations and will gather them, and will bring them to their own land.” Since King Solomon the nation was divided into two kingdoms. The first step in the new covenant by the Lord was bringing people together and their own land. The land issue is a contentious one in South Africa, and this can be correlated to the lack of social cohesion. We are not gathered together as the people of South Africa. The problem is not merely a legal one.

“O Lord, do not stay afar off; my strength, make haste to help me! For I am a worm and no man, scorned b everyone, despised by the people.” (Cf. Ps 21:20,7)
