The Interdiocesan Youth and Association of Catholic Tertiary Students (ACTS) Chaplain of the Southern African Catholic Bishops Conference (SACBC) Fr. Motankane Mahlako met with the Provincial of the Southern Africa province of the Salesians of Don Bosco sdb) Fr Klement Vaclav and Fr Lazri Odise from the Salesians of Don Bosco Youth ministry team.

During the Friday, September 13 meeting held at the SACBC headquarters – Khanya House- Fr Vaclav sdb who is also the communication officer of the Leadership Conference of Consecrated Life (LCCL) spoke on behalf of the association of religious congregation to “explore the possible networking and sharing with the SACBC Youth Ministry Office.”

The meeting took place days before the Joint Witness conference scheduled to take place in Benoni from Monday, September 16 to 19. During the four-day meeting themed Synodality bishops and religious leaders will address pastoral matters including ‘ongoing formation’ in a Synodal church.
